I'm teetering on the edge of big descisions: where to go to school next fall? What to major in? I know, I seem fickle. I promise I'm not. I'm just...nineteen. And trying to discern God's will vs. my own selfish ambitions for my life. It can be a tough task. I want to be where He wants me. I can either stay at Bethel or transfer to some kind of state institution. At this point, I'm fairly sure I'll be transferring. Where to? That's the big question. I really don't want to leave the South Bend/Mishawaka area. I've made so many connections with friends and my church family here, and it would be painful to leave those behind. And my brother is a freshman and loving Bethel. So...deep breath...I applied to Indiana University South Bend. We'll just have to see what the difference in cost is when the out-of-state fees are calculated. But at this point, I've put the situation in God's hands.

In other news, tap dancing has taken over my life. Between tap class, Collegians, and the musical...it's all-consuming. But I can't say that's altogether a bad thing. I enjoy it, and feel well-equipped after my 10 years of instruction with Jen Nelson.

I have two friends that are expecting their first children, and another who is expecting her second. They are all due anytime from late December to early March. It's an exciting time! I am thrilled for all of them. It's overwhelmingly exciting to hear updates on the little ones they're carrying. God is so, so good. :)

Happy living :) Kathryn Elizabeth
